Our Story

PolicyMedical was founded in 2000 by our CEO, Saud Juman. From his insight that most processes in hospital document management can be automated, emerged the company that brings you today’s leading healthcare policy management software, PolicyManager™.

Since that day, PolicyMedical has maintained the belief that a policy management system should be user-friendly and specifically tailored to the needs of hospitals – allowing health care workers to get back to doing what they were hired to do – take care of patients.

  Hi, I’m Saud. I started PolicyMedical over ten years ago with the goal of making people’s lives healthier through the use of technology. This ideal is still what drives me every day, ten years later. So you can find me on any given day, doing anything from visiting clients on-site, to brainstorming cool tech innovations in Silicon Valley.

  Hi, I’m Dr. Sanjaya Kumar, and I bring over 20 years of healthcare and clinical informatics experience and strong leadership abilities to his role as Chief Medical Officer at PolicyMedical, Inc.

  In my role, I’m charged with transforming the company through the development and introduction of innovative web based healthcare IT solutions that address hospitals’ and healthcare providers’ challenges for policy management and compliance to established protocols.

  Hi, I’m Nicola Heslip and I’m the Product Content Management Director at PolicyMedical.

  I’ve been working in the healthcare industry for nearly two decades and have years of experience writing policies for hospitals, as well as reviewing policies for regulatory compliance. I’m on the Joint Commission’s exclusive list of consultants that assist staffing agencies and other healthcare entities with certification and accreditation. In addition to consulting in healthcare policy and procedures, I’m also a certified legal nurse consultant and a certified patient safety officer.
