Our History - A Foray Into Policy Management

PolicyMedical was founded by Saud Juman in the summer of 2000.  From this very first year the company was funded by its own revenues.  PolicyMedical has grown over the years into a completely self-sustainable and highly stable firm, and a recognized name in healthcare policy management.

The idea came about almost a decade ago when Saud, who was actively involved in healthcare technology, was approached by several hospitals about the pain they were feeling from the lack of a proper policy management tool.  A team of healthcare, technology and product development leaders was assembled originally to search the market for an existing solution for hospitals.  The search found unsatisfactory results that did not meet the special needs of hospitals.  So the team formally created PolicyMedical and collaborated intimately with a carefully selected group of hospitals to release the first version of PolicyManager® back in 2001. 

This Canadian based company was first embraced by the US hospital market from the beginning as US hospital's were hungry for a solution that met their needs.  This trend has continued and PolicyMedical has become the go-to experts in the field of hospital policy management, particularly in highly stringent regulatory and quality driven healthcare cultures.  Hospitals that know us, use our product and services.  Our business is driven by referrals.
