Q - Why does PolicyMedical only serve hospitals and healthcare organizations? A – This has been our model from day one – which is to specialize and service what we know best – which are hospitals. We have been approached throughout the years to market our products to law firms, manufacturing plants, banks etc. But we have intentionally chosen to focus exclusively on hospitals.
A – As one of our favorite authors (Thomas Friedman) wrote – the world is flat. In actuality over 80% of our client base is outside Canada, with the majority being in the United States. We have the largest critical mass of hospitals in the United States and now globally using our system.
Q – How much does PolicyManager® cost? A – Pricing is scaled and based on your number of FTE (Full Time Employees). We actually calculate a site-license for your entire facility.
Q – Why do you use full time employees as a measure to calculate pricing? A – We have found this to be the fairest mechanism to calculate pricing. Some companies use number of beds. Others use concurrent licenses, which lock out additional users. We believe in simple pricing and easy access for all of your workers.
Q- Why isn’t your pricing listed on the website? A – We provide full pricing to qualified hospitals after an initial walk through demo of PolicyManager®. This allows us to gather additional information which will affect pricing.
Q – Is PolicyManager® “web-based” and where is it installed? A – PolicyManager® can be deployed either right within your
hospital’s environment on your existing servers. Or we can host it for
you through our hosted software as a service model. Either way is
great and we have many hospitals that are using PolicyManager® on both
models. |
