Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for writing outstanding content for a variety of marketing campaigns and programs.  As well as collaborating with subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content that supports our inbound marketing initiatives and focus on increasing brand awareness with our target audience across multiple industries and vertical markets.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

Content Development

  • Develop a content marketing editorial calendar including target KPIs
  • Align new content assets to buyer personas to ensure content is addressing business pains and educating potential buyers of the business benefits of our SaaS-based solutions
  • Write excellent short and long form content for our website, social media, blogs, webinars, presentations, video scripts, podcast scripts, sales enablement and email campaigns in the form of customer testimonials, white papers, eGuides, press releases, eBooks, brochures, solution sheets, infographics, checklists, etc.
  • Edit videos, podcasts, and webinar materials accordingly

Demand Generation

  • Coordinate and collaborate with the marketing team as well as others within the organization to produce webinars and podcasts
  • Develop a webinar and podcast annual calendar of activities
  • Provide content development support for tradeshows/conferences and other miscellaneous marketing programs

Social Media Monitoring and Blogging

  • Develop a blog editorial calendar including target KPIs
  • Develop a social media editorial calendar including target KPIs
  • Monitor all the corporate social media channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and relevant LinkedIn Groups on a daily basis
  • Publish authentic and curated content on the corporate social media channels
  • Be a guest blogger on relevant healthcare focused sites
  • Identify industry influencers
  • Publish blog posts using WordPress to our corporate website
  • Leverage HubSpot to publish social shares. monitor engagement with our content and to engage with followers and industry influencers
  • Increase engagement with our content and followers across all social channels

Public/Media Relations

  • Write contributed articles for submissions to key industry publications
  • Support the development of press releases and other media coverage

Newsletters

  • Create, manage and publish the monthly corporate e-newsletter – customer and non-customer facing
  • Develop and administer the editorial calendar
  • Report on monthly readership metrics and recommend improvements to increase click thrus and engagement

Competitive and Market Intelligence

  • Keep abreast of industry news and competitive marketing programs
  • Track industry influencers
  • Subscribe to industry publication newsletters and alerts

Reporting

  • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting on target KPIs
  • Evaluate results and provide recommendations on how to improve outcomes across marketing channels/programs when necessary
  • Identify trends and adjust programs accordingly

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related content marketing experience, ideally in the software or technology industries.
  • Bachelors’ or College Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or Equivalent experience
  • Proven success in creating content, preferably for a B2B audience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to use these skills to build relationships and interact effectively with individuals across the organization as well  customers and business partners.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines while simultaneously managing multiple projects.
  • Deep understanding of content optimization (social media, demand gen, etc.) to maximize content visibility.
  • Attention to detail is critical for this role.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot or Act-On
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, image editing, mobile optimization, and email best practices

Inbound Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Inbound Marketing Manager will be responsible for orchestrating B2B inbound demand generation campaigns to drive revenue and repeat business for the company’s SaaS-based software solutions. You are a marketing nerd who loves using marketing technology to fuel the sales pipeline with high quality leads and nurture them through the customer journey. You are familiar with setting up lead nurturing programs from concept to delivery and understand the impact of good storytelling to increase brand awareness.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Optimize our email marketing and lead nurturing processes to our target audience segments, creating inspiring emails that increase site traffic and engagement
  • Design email layouts, create content, implement and analyze results to ensure best results
  • Manage campaign lists including pulling and cleansing lists from various sources to ensure data quality
  • Orchestrate A/B testing for various email campaigns to increase open and click thru rates
  • Routinely analyze and report on performance metrics and recommend methods to drive conversions, reduce opt-outs, etc.
  • Understand how the marketing automation system is integrated with the company’s CRM system and other marketing systems
  • Set up lead nurturing workflows/programs to nurture top of the funnel leads to bottom of the funnel leads; recycled leads from the sales team that are not yet sales-ready; and all marketing qualitied leads to sales qualified leads
  • Support Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives and campaigns targeting the Top 30 Key Accounts and a broader set of 100 Accounts.
  • You have experience setting up customer email drip campaigns to upsell and cross sell complimentary products as well as new features/functionality to existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to identify and develop email campaigns to support demand generation efforts and customer communication
  • Leverage the marketing automation system to setup and distribute emails for demand generation and customer communication
  • Focus on creating continual email touch points to increase marketing qualified leads.
  • Coordinate and set up webinars using GoTo Webinar
  • Work with our CRM Administrator to ensure that all lead sources are set up for new marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Content Marketing Specialist to identify opportunities to drive inbound traffic to our digital properties and through our social media channels

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ or College Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or Equivalent experience
  • 2-3+ years’ experience working in a marketing automation capacity in-house or at an agency
  • Experience with HubSpot or other automation tools such as Marketo, Pardot or Act-On
  • Experience with Salesforce or related CRM
  • Experience in healthcare is an asset
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, image editing, mobile optimization and email best practices
  • Microsoft Office proficient – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Possess strong technology skills and the love of learning new things
  • Knowledge of conversion marketing and B2B marketing trends
  • Must be very organized, detail oriented and have strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and collaborate with cross functional teams
