With a goal of having sales professionals better understand the mind of a CEO/Executive so they can have better, engaging and more productive conversations, Salesforce organized a set of fireside chats, each featuring a different CEO of a key customer account in the Emerging and Small Business segment.
PolicyMedical CEO Saud Juman was selected as the highlighted guest at a recent CEO series day, where he sat down down with a group of Salesforce’s newest Account Executives, Solutions Engineers and related product specialists to share his wisdom.
Saud spoke candidly about his career highs, lows, challenges and goals for the business, while the group soaked up the rare opportunity to get live feedback by asking insightful questions. Below is a sneak peek inside some of the top takeaways from Saud’s talk:
“I never looked beyond 3 years. I kept one foot in the present, and a toe in the future,” said Saud.
When asked what 3 areas he focused on when building the business, he replied:
- Mastering the healthcare industry
- Establishing mentors
- Surrounding myself with great people
“Just tell the truth. Establish trust by being authentic and vulnerable,” he said, offering the following suggestions:
- When you make a connection, be real
- Educate yourself on the client
- Teach your client something about their business
- Offer a high-quality product that people need and/or want, and that you truly believe in
- Be of service with it
He ended by sharing his passion for PolicyMedical, and urged the group to always follow their intuition and continually try to share their unique gifts.
